If I set up a Living Trust, can I be my own trustee?

Answer

YES.  In fact, most Living Trusts have the people who created them acting as their own trustee.  As trustee of your own Trust, you will continue to have absolute control over your assets just as you did before.  If you ever become incapacitated to the point that you are unable to manage your affairs, your hand-picked successor (and not some court appointed person) will take over for you until you are well enough to do so again.
